Arctic Monkeys - Travel Information

Due to rail engineering works, there will be delays and a reduced service on the South Western Railways train routes. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Below you can find the information you'll need regarding travel and parking for The Arctic Monkeys concert on the 14th of June 2023.

Please plan your journey in advance of your trip to The Ageas Bowl to make your journey as smooth and seamless as possible.

A road closure will be in place on Botley Road between Moorgreen Road and Tollbar Way. Please avoid West End High Street if travelling by motor vehicle. 


Drop Off & Pick Up Area

A Drop Off & Pick Up Area is available at the Car Park of Marks & Spencer, Hedge End. Please follow directional signage and the instructions of any stewards. The Drop Off area is a 15-20 minute walk from the venue.

Accessible/ Blue Badge Parking

Car Parking - £20 per vehicle

We have limited onsite accessible and blue badge parking, which is available to book over the phone. Please note, you will need to provide a valid blue badge to park. Failure to provide a valid pass will result in your vehicle being turned away from the car park.

Accessible Pick-Up

For accessible pick up after the concert an accessible car park advance booking is required. Please be on site and in the car park before 21:30 as there will be no access to the site for accessible pick up between 21:30 and 23:15.

Park & Walk

Park & Walk - £25 per vehicle

Park your car in the secure car park and walk to The Ageas Bowl. This walk will take you approximately 10 minutes. Please note, your car will be parked on a grass surface and your walk will be on a tarmac path which contains hills and will not be suitable for those with mobility requirements. 

The vehicle entrance for park & walk is from the A27 Moorhill Road, please follow signage for “park & walk” on local roads.

Park & Ride

Park & Ride - £20 per vehicle in advance

Park your car in the secure car park at Wide Lane, opposite Southampton Airport Parkway train station and travel to The Ageas Bowl on a shuttle bus service. Park & Ride opens at 15:00pm.

Rail Shuttles

Bush Shuttle - £5 return in advance

Bus shuttles will operate between Southampton Airport Parkway and The Ageas Bowl between 15:30 and 00:30 (approximately).

Please find below the return trains available on the 14th of June from Southampton Airport Parkway and Hedge End. Due to the large scale concert, we recommend pre-booking your ticket to ensure your place on the trains.

Alternative Car Parking options are available in the local area through the Arctic Monkeys Official Car Park Partner. 


Hilton at The Ageas Bowl 

For those staying overnight at the Hilton at The Ageas Bowl, please be aware that there will be parking attendants present to check your name prior to entry to the car park. You will be limited to one car per room. 

Check in - 3pm
Check out - 11am

Early arrival and check in to the hotel is not guaranteed. The rooms booked are for the booked occupancy only for overnight and you are allowed an additional 2 guests only per room, due to security and capacity policies. Names will need to be provided in advance to enable guests into the bedrooms.

BEEFY'S Restaurant by Lord Botham

BEEFY'S will be open for guests between 12pm - 6:30pm, however pre-booking is essential and walk ins will not be accepted. A reduced menu will also be offered on this date. 

After the concert begins, BEEFY'S will be open for residents only. For all bookings, please email beefys@hiltonageasbowl.com or call 02382 027097

There is no entry to the stadium from BEEFY’S restaurant, ticket holders will need to use the stadium gates.
