Bob is a retired civil servant scientist and has been a member of Hampshire Cricket since 1972.
He is currently a member of the Heritage Group and assistant editor of the Hampshire Handbook.
Outside of cricket he is the secretary of Fleet and North Hants Philatelic Society and is an active member of the local parish church. He is also a keen table tennis player, having served on the committee of Aldershot and District league for 17 years, eight as a competition secretary.
Bob is single and lives in Hook, near Basingstoke.
