The Ageas Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

2020 saw the venue host behind-closed-doors England Men's internationals against West Indies, Ireland, Pakistan and Australia as well as Hampshire fixtures in the Vitality Blast and Southern Vipers matches in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

2021 saw the venue welcome New Zealand & India for the inaugural ICC World Test Championship Final, and England Men for a Vitality IT20 against Sri Lanka on Saturday 26th June. Hampshire and Southern Vipers also returned to action in a summer which saw the introduction of The Hundred - where Southern Brave contested at The Ageas Bowl in July and August.

The world-class is also home to an elite sports medicine centre, the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre, the rapidly expanding amateur boxing club, Poseidon and the Hedge End Running Club.

Choi Kwang Do martial arts classes are also held at the Ageas Bowl, whilst 2016 saw the Hampshire Cricket College welcome its first students.

Hampshire Cricket Foundation’s Auction Closes On Tuesday

A host of exclusive lots are open for bidding in the auction supporting Southampton Hospitals Charity

Hampshire Cricket Foundation - in May 2022 - announced that the charity's fundraising for Southampton Hospitals Charity had passed £100,000 and the Foundation's latest initiative - an online charity auction - closes at 7pm on Tuesday 5th July.

The funds raised will help enhance the care, experience and outcomes for thousands of patients at University Hospital Southampton.

The partnership – between Hampshire Cricket Foundation and Southampton Hospitals Charity, which started during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 – is now in its third year and an online charity auction is currently live, with a whole host of lots to browse ahead of the auction ending on Tuesday 5th July.

We’re still playing catch-up following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic which had a significant impact on how we’re able to deliver rehabilitative care. Hampshire Cricket’s fundraising – and the rehabilitation space it’s supporting – will make a massive difference to the quality of treatment and care we’re able to offer. Our partnership with the Club is one we’re very proud of and thankful for.
