"Robbo" is an attacking opening batsman who is particularly strong off the back foot. He is also an occasional off-spinner.
Having enjoyed a very successful 2012 for the Club's Second XI in which he finished leading run-scorer in the Second XI Championship with 610 runs at an average of 50.83, he was awarded a full Hampshire contract for 2013.
Highlights of that campaign were three centuries, including 110 against Somerset, 101* against Gloucestershire and 144 against Sussex.
Before that he had scored more than 1,000 minor county runs for Berkshire in 2011 including 205 against Herefordshire and 97* in a Lord's Trophy Final against Hertfordshire.
With a nickname like "Punter" you know this opening batsman is tipped for big things!
