Hampshire Players Golf Day 2014

Sep 19 2014

After their hard-fought draw with Kent at the Ageas Bowl this week, the Hampshire cricket squad and support staff took to the Meon Valley Golf Course in Southampton for a team bonding session.

It’s been a brilliant few days for Will Smith, who signed a new contract extension, reached 1,000 LV= County Championship runs and scored an impressive century against Kent all in the same week! He was joined on the golf course by Head Physiotherapist Thihan Chandramohan.

All-rounder Chris Wood has experienced a rich vein of form in Championship cricket since his return to the four-day side. He hit the course with Performance Analyst Joe Maiden.

Fresh from his batting heroics this week, James Tomlinson hit the golf course with some rather unorthodox headgear....

Spinner Danny Briggs looked a tad more professional at the first tee...

This week's centurion Sean Ervine and Wicketkeeper-Batsman Michael Bates waiting for the first tee.

Batsman Joe Gatting, who experienced his first season for Hampshire this year, enjoying his round of golf.

Wicketkeeper-Batsman Adam Wheater with an interesting choice of golf shirt...

Tom Aslop, who made his First-Class debut for Hampshire this week, with Hampshire coach Charlie Freeston
