Hampshire Avoid YB40 Finalists in 50-Over Competition Draw

Hampshire have been drawn in Group A with Yorkshire and Lancashire in next season’s 50-over competition.

2013 Friends Life t20 winners Northamptonshire have also been drawn in Hampshire’s group for the competition which will replace the current Yorkshire Bank 40 tournament.

However, Hampshire have avoided YB40 finalists Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan and LV=CC champions Durham with all three sides taking a spot in Group B.

The teams will play each other once, with the top four from each group progressing to the Quarter-Finals.

Group A: Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Yorkshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire, Essex, Gloucestershire, Lancashire, Hampshire.

Group B: Surrey, Somerset, Kent, Sussex, Glamorgan, Durham, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire.
