Hampshire fans will be able to watch their team in action live on Sky Sports a minimum of five times in 2014 with the potential for a number of other matches being shown throughout the summer.
NatWest T20 Blast:
Hampshire’s defeat to Kent was their only loss on route to T20 Finals Day last season and Hants have the opportunity to redeem themselves with the home fixture between the two sides (Thursday 5th June) kicking off Hampshire’s live TV coverage in 2014. Hants’ clash with Somerset at The Ageas Bowl is their second confirmed home televised match with away trips to Glamorgan and Essex also set to be shown on TV.
The NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
Royal London One-Day Cup:
Hampshire’s away match against Essex (Wednesday 13th August) at Chelmsford is currently the only 50-over match confirmed to be televised.
However, the competition’s new format for 2014 means all four Royal London On-Day Cup Quarter-Final, Semi-Finals and final will all be shown live on Sky Sports.
LV= County Championship:
None of Hampshire’s LV=CC matches are guaranteed to be on Sky Sports but there is provision for two Championship fixtures to be televised at the season’s climax between 15-26 September. If Hampshire are, as hoped, pushing for promotion to Division One, then one of Hants’ last two matches could be the one Sky focus on.
Hampshire face Kent in their penultimate match of the season at The Ageas Bowl (15-18 Sept) before facing Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium in their final fixture of 2014 (23-26 Sept).
