Level 1 Cricket Umpires Courses
A variety of venues are available. Additionally the course can be completed by weekly evening classes or over a 2 day weekend period or a 3 day midweek period. Successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination will enable the candidate to be awarded a Level 1 Cricket Umpire’s certificate from ECBACO.

There will be an Exam which, if successfully passed, will receive the award of an ECBACO Level 1 Scorer Certificate.
The cost of the course is £60.00 (there is a reduction in the price if you are a member of ECBCA and have the Law Books), and includes the Scorer's bag, which contains:
- Your participant folder and course materials and all tutoring
- MCC Laws of Cricket (2000 Code 4th edition – 2010) (currently £3.00)
- ECB directives and an ECB ACO best practice guide
- Copy of Tom Smith book (currently £18.99)
- One years FREE Membership of ECBACO (currently £32.00 or £30.00 if by DD
- A CRB check
- A scorers cushion
- A calculator
