Ahead of the 2013 season, AgeasBowl.com asked bowler David Balcombe to do a video diary from the Royals' pre-season tour of Barbados. Inventively, we called the project, "Balcs in Barbs". The plan was to provide fans with a humorous and entertaining look at the team's season preparations... it's safe to say, results may vary!

Episode Three: Unfortunate Cricketers Have Golf Stopped by Rain
People think a pre-season tour to Barbados is just a wonderful two-week stay on a paradise island punctuated with with the chance to play some good quality cricket after a long winter but in this episode Balcs shows the tougher side of the tour with some teammates even having to cancel a morning golf session due to rain. We also catch an interview with the team's new signing from Italian football (?!) who tells us that Southampton has more culture than Milan and experience all the fun of a night out with bowler, David Griffiths.
