Perform at The Ageas Bowl

Perform at The Ageas Bowl is a bespoke Sports Medicine Centre built within the grounds of Hampshire Cricket. The facility boasts a well-equipped modern rehabilitation gym, consultation rooms and a vast outside training area which can truly maximise the outcome of anyone recovering from injury. The clinic has ample parking and full access for disabled users.

As well as being available to the public, Perform at The Ageas Bowl delivers first class medical and rehabilitation care to the Hampshire Cricket team and provides medical support to visiting international cricket teams who regularly play at the ground.

The team at the centre, led by Dan Young, are able to assess and treat a wide range of conditions in individuals aged eight and upwards, whilst the centre also offers a rapid access clinic for injuries less than seven days old - this provision is ideal for weekend sporting injuries, with appointments available early morning as well as evenings (08:00 - 20:00).

Dan Young, Head of Sports Medicine at The Ageas Bowl, is a chartered physiotherapist with more than ten years experience, previously working with various national sports teams. Dan has extensive experience in treating all types of injuries and conditions, but holds a special interest in exercise related leg pain and long standing groin pain.

Perform at The Ageas Bowl has a unique partenership with Spire Southampton Hospital, which allows full access to all of the diagnostic imaging (including X-Ray, CT and MRI), pathology services and surgical options available at the hospital.
