Only ten overs of play were possible on a greatly rain affected day three of Hampshire's LV= County Championship match against Leicestershire at The Ageas Bowl.
In that time Michael Carberry (84*) and Sean Ervine (41*) added 36 runs; the lions share of which went to the Zimbabwean, who brought up two boundaries.
Hampshire, therefore, go into day four on 217-4, 17 runs behind Leicestershire's first innings total of 234.
A clear stretch of weather and some tactical cricket will be needed on the final day if we're to get a positive result in this match.
