The Sights and Sounds of the Ageas Bowl ODI

All the atmosphere of the big match through the media of video, photo and audio

Internationals at The Ageas Bowl are always a great occasion. From the action on the field of play to the entertainment around the ground and the experiences of the fans, that's what makes England's visits to the home of Hampshire Cricket really special.

Throughout the first NatWest Series ODI of the summer, ageasbowl.com's Simon Vincent and photographer Dave Vokes of LMI Photography travelled around the ground armed with a camera, a smart phone and a smile, tweeting, videoing and snapping anything that takes their fancy and adding it online, live.

See the results of their endeavour below (please note, audio quality on videos may vary - we were doing it on a smart phone!)...

Before Play:
The fans enter the ground. As always, they do us proud wearing all their colours and fancy dress with pride!

... Even Umpire Dharmasena is in good spirits despite having his hat blown off not once, but twice! Fortunately, Ageas Bowl groundsman, Melvin Bridle is on hand to snare it.

... And there's smiles all round as Bell brings up his century (95 balls, 10 fours and one six).

14:45 - The Interval
England finish on 288-6. So can they defend that total? We ask these England fans what they think...

Of course, there are always two sides to a story. And guess what these West Indies fans have to say to the same question...

And with the break on, we decide to visit the Sky Boxes to surprise commentator, David "Bumble" Lloyd with some cake...

...which he then elects to hand out to the fans!...
