Who needs to be CRB checked?
All active coaches, umpires, scorers and some others must have a current CRB clearance through ECB. You can confirm who needs a CRB check within your club, if you are unsure.
CRB checks are free to volunteers and application forms are available from TMG who handle the forms on behalf of ECB, or telephone them on 0845 2515000.
A CRB certificate is valid for 3 years. A reminder should be sent to you when a renewal is due. Any change of address on the clearance certificate should have been notified to ECB.
Foreign Nationals who are coaching in clubs, here, should obtain the equivalent of a CRB check from the police authorities in their own country.
Evidence Checkers
Sections W and X, on the application form, and a separate Identification Document form, must be completed by a, current, County Evidence Checker for Hampshire.
Send your completed application form, along with the Identification Document form, to:
ECB, TMG CRB, 1 Wilford Business Park, Ruddington Lane, Nottingham, NG11 7EP.
Please note this address - only application forms with this address on the front page are accepted. Any stocks of the old forms should be destroyed.
More information on the CRB process is available via the ECB website.
