LV= County Championship

Hampshire travel to Cardiff to take on Glamorgan in their second LV= County Championship match of the season starting on Thursday.
Manager Giles White names the same 12-man squad which pushed Gloucestershire all the way to the wire last week for the trip.
Seamer, James Tomlinson is back in training but not yet considered match-fit.
However, bowler David Balcombe (11 match wickets), batsman Simon Katich (a first-innings 74) and wicketkeeper Michael Bates (six first-innings catches and an 87 with the bat) will all be looking to add to good opening match displays.
Bates said; “We were bitterly disappointed that we fell at the last hurdle [against Gloucestershire]. I would have loved to have seen the team through, secure the draw and potentially even win the game.
“But it was very pleasing to get some runs under my belt – I’m feeling pretty good at the moment, batting-wise - and I caught them alright in that game as well, so I’m feeling very positive.
“Throughout the season we’ve decided we’re going to try to keep pretty level headed about all our cricket, whether we win, whether we lose or whether we draw, and there’s a feeling throughout the camp that we’ve managed to achieve that so far.
“Everyone’s looking in good form, we’ve prepared well and there were plenty of positives to take from the previous game so I think we’re all very, very confident. We’re going to take that confidence into the game against Glamorgan and hopefully do well.”
Hampshire take on a Glamorgan side in some degree of trouble, having lost their opening two matches of the season. Indeed, none of their batsmen have an average above 20 after four innings each.
Coach Matthew Mott has admitted he may make changes to his squad ahead of the match. However, former Hampshire bowler, Simon Jones is not in line to play having been signed on a limited-overs only contract at the end of last season. Neither is overseas batsman Marcus North as he doesn’t arrive until the beginning of May.
Play starts at the SWALEC Stadium on Thursday at 11am.
