England v West Indies 2012
England take on the West Indies in the first One Day International of the 2012 Summer on Saturday 16th June at The Ageas Bowl.
The first of a three-match series, this fixture will set the tone for what is to come for England with two further ODI series to follow later in the year.
To add to the intrigue, though both sides have played at the ground before, it will be the first match between them at The Ageas Bowl.
Furthermore, in the three scheduled matches the visitors have played at venue, they remain undefeated. Meanwhile, having not lost a match, themselves, in Southampton since 2009, England will be up for the fight.
It all adds up to what should be a colourful, exciting and competitive game between two of the historic power-houses of International cricket.
