Some excellent bowling saw Hampshire battle their way back into contention in this match on day three of this LV= County Championship against Gloucestershire at The Ageas Bowl.
After a rain-drenched morning, which saw start of play delayed until 3pm, Hampshire lost their last three wickets for the addition of 17 runs, ending 199 all out and 115 runs behind on the first innings.

But then they hit back in dramatic fashion when, spearheaded by some aggressive bowling by Hamza Riazuddin (3-30), the hosts reduced Gloucestershire to 71-5 inside 24 overs.
Some middle-order stubbornness from Iain Cockbain (27*) and Will Gidman (25*) saw their side to 129-5 by close – a lead of 244 going into a final day in which all results are possible.
